THE IGNITE EXPERIENCE
Discipleship
Discipleship is woven throughout the fabric of the daily Ignite classroom experience. Every teacher at Ignite is a devoted follower of Christ, and each take delight in leading their students through a daily Bible reading, memorization, and prayer. Curriculum written from a biblical worldview is carefully selected for instruction. Every day begins with a recitation of the school verse, Matthew 5:16 and prayer. The Ignite team seeks to exemplify Christ in all they do and say, knowing that discipleship occurs not just in teaching, but in their own example as they let their lights shine in the presence of their students.
Academic Partnership
Ignite partners with homeschooling families in the academic instruction and discipleship of their children. All curriculum for Ignite courses is provided. Teachers instruct and assign work for home learning days. Homeschool families use an online class management system to access daily assignments, view grades, and communicate with teachers.
As a cooperative, the homeschool teaching parent must commit to attend mandatory events, sign up to volunteer in a non-teaching capacity, and fulfil the Parent Role as it pertains to their child’s developmental stage.
