KINDERGARTEN & FIRST GRADE
INSTRUCTOR: Mrs. Bryan & Mrs. Wineinger
Kindergarten & first grade, separated by grade level, are brimming with hands-on, fun and creative experiences. Curriculum includes math, language arts, social studies, science, music, and art. Students learn important school skills and have Bible daily.

SECOND & THIRD GRADE
INSTRUCTOR: Mrs. Hishmeh, assisted by Mrs. Pohlenz
Students in second & third grade enjoy hands-on learning, including STEM, science experiments, art projects, and small group instruction. Curriculum covers language arts, math support, social studies, science, art, and music. Bible is also taught daily and is woven throughout the curriculum.
Second & third grade students are invited to participate in the Challenge Program, which includes optional project-based assignments to extend student learning at home. Our students love this program!

Language Arts: Read with your child daily or choose a reading curriculum for completion at home.
Math: Choose a math curriculum for student completion at home.
FOURTH & FIFTH GRADE
INSTRUCTORS: Mrs. Reynolds & Mrs. Alconz
Ignite believes in the importance of learning by “doing” and fourth and fifth grade is no exception. Students will play fun learning games, create art and science projects and much more! Programming for fourth & fifth graders includes language arts, social studies, science, art. and music. Math support is provided for fourth graders with a focus on solidifying multiplication facts. Bible is an important part of each day. Fifth grade students may choose to participate in band or take an alternate elective course (art and yearbook for 2024-2025).
Families should expect 2-3 assignments in every course weekly. Ignite teachers provide the majority of the schoolwork for home learning days.

SIXTH - EIGHTH GRADE
INSTRUCTORS: Mrs. Alconz, Mrs. Banion, and Mr. Bryan
Hands-on learning continues even into middle school. Sixth-eighth graders will still complete projects in class and participate in fun science experiments and games. All content for a complete program in writing, grammar, literature, social studies, science, and art is instructed through Ignite. Bible is also an important part of each day. Additionally, students may choose to participate in band or take an alternate elective course (art and yearbook for 2024-2025).
Students receive homework assignments from their Ignite teachers. Families should expect 3 assignments in every course weekly. Ignite teachers provide the majority of the schoolwork for home learning days.
