Register your homeschool
Home Learning, directed by the teaching parent, takes place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Ignite teachers provide two days of assignments, allowing for flexibility to incorporate additional activities.
All Ignite families register their homeschool as a non-accredited private school in the state of Kansas. We will walk you through this quick process when you enroll.
What Does Home Learning Look Like?
Home Learning is different for every family, and there is no one-size-fits-all model! We recommend setting a schedule and routine but being flexible until you find what works best for you.
Kindergarten - 4th
Elementary students in kindergarten through 4th grade will receive a weekly Home Learning plan. Each plan is complete with classroom updates, the content being taught that week, instructions for assignments, and a checklist to keep you organized. Any papers needed for the week are included, as well as access to digital resources. All student curriculum is provided by Ignite Hybrid School.
5th -- 12th
Intermediate, middle, and high school students will access their assignments through Jupiter Ed, a school management system, which allows them to view assignments, check grades, and safely message their teachers through a parent- monitored messaging portal. Parents will also have a login to Jupiter Ed.

PRIVATE TUTOR
Parents of students in kindergarten through 4th grade will act as private tutors, working with their child and supporting their learning each day.

GUIDE
Parents of intermediate and middle school students will guide their students daily, setting up a structure for their success at home, helping them with assignments as needed, and holding them accountable. It is important for parents to remain very involved, checking grades, and looking over assignments.

COURSE MONITOR
Parents of high school students assist their child by monitoring their course work, which includes checking in, helping their student as requested, and encouraging accountability to Ignite teachers.
Ignite exists to partner with families in educating the next generation for the glory of God and the good of society.
